Labradors

Labradors

Labradors are loyal, hard working dogs with a very pleasant nature.
Pexswillow Dogs have been breeding beautiful, good-natured Labradors in Macclesfield for many years.

Much like the Cocker Spaniel, it’s in their instinct to retrieve. In the years gone by, Labradors regularly accompanied fishermen, helping them retrieve fish, ropes and nets.

Today, Labradors often work as guide, search or rescue dogs, though they also make happy and loyal family pets. All our Labradors are bred from working lines that have had all their health tests. They are B.V.A hip and elbow tested, B.V.A eye tested and DNA tested for P.R.A (progressive retinal atrophy).

If you bring a Labrador into your home, you’ll need to ensure you provide them with a balanced diet; they love to eat and can easily become overweight if their intake is not properly monitored. Whilst they require plenty of care, thanks to their happy, warm nature, many owners would agree it’s well worth the effort! Labradors are particularly ideal for families with young children.

If you think this may be the dog for you, why not come and see us and meet some of the Labrador Puppies we have? Did you know we also breed crossbreeds such as Labradoodles and Cockerpoos?

Our beautiful Cockapoo puppy, Olive, is almost one year old now. She is fun, friendly, obedient and an absolute delight. Many people ask us where we got her from as she has such a wonderful temperament and is such a fantastic little girl and we tell them Pexall Farm.

I had my first Yorkie from you 16 years ago . I have never looked back and came again when dear Bronte was in advanced age. Now we have Milly her relative and she is doing just fine.

We had Maya, a working cocker spaniel from you in May 2008 followed by Ruby, her niece, in November 2009. They are wonderfully fun dogs with a great nature & are the best of friends. Sadly my husband is refusing to return for puppy number 3! I will continue to keep working on him!
